Recently, “Happy” singer Pharrell Williams was spotted out and about wearing pearls. According to the music hit maker, he wears the long strand of pearls with a purpose.

According to IBN Live, Pharrell had this to say about his choice of pearls and other jewels:

 “Hey Ms. Elitou! I have been looking at the Pearls Only jewelry and I wanted to know do you think that pearls are for the everyday woman? Can the average woman who has the hustle and bustle of work, constant outings, all while maintaining the responsibilities of raising children get a great amount of use from pearl jewelry? I am a mother of two and I find that I have little time to switch up my jewelry, I need them to go with everything and I need to be able to move fast.  I would love to invest in diamonds but I am too worried about the cost and the possibility of losing an earring due to my fast moving lifestyle. Do you think pearls would be a better fit for me? We at Pearl’s Only decided to take a look back at Dior’s Fall 2013 “Secret Garden” Campaign and we loved it just as much as we did before!

The line featured great fashion but what really caught our attention was their gorgeous attention to detail with their jewelry—their pearls in particular!

The line created by Dior’s accessories designer, Camille Miceli, really caught the delicate beauty of pearls and gave it a stunning modern twist.

We really found the pearl collar necklace to be dynamic while the double sided pearl studs brought a much appreciated upgrade to your everyday pearl earrings. read more

Although the pearl trend was not seen during the 2014 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 18th in Las Vegas, Nevada but here are a few “pearls” that we deemed gorgeous and so very stylish. The red carpet was filled with many great celebrities and we have gathered a list of some of very best dressed.

Jennifer Lopez looked stylish and sensual in this long Donna Karan dress. Bold and furious, this red and flowing sheer and bodysuit style made JLo look like a breath of fresh air. We also loved the up-do hairstyle because it made the look goddess friendly. read more

Janelle Monae showed up and showed out when she attended the Chanel Cruise 2015 Collection in Dubai decked out in large statement pearls!

Although she wore her traditional black-and-white color scheme and favorite updo, she kept her style unique be adding a cube ring with three massive pearls, pearl earrings, a pearl brooch and Chanel’s signature pearl headphone necklace.

As we stated multiple times, pearls are no longer just for your mother and we found that Zack Dobbins, from Gulfshorelife.com totally agrees!

Dobbins wrote an article entitled, “Style File: Not Your Mother’s Pearls”, which explains his thoughts and opinions on how pearls are for the chic and fashionable youth as well!

“However I think it’s time they [Pearls] come back, but in a different mix. Not in the expected “lady-like” way but much to the contrary. My favorite acting teacher and early style Icon, Andi Horowitz, used to wear the longest strand of pearls to acting class almost daily.  But she did it in the chicest way.
